Denise Dosal Butler
Denise Butler holds a Masters Degree in leadership from FSU and spent 24 years in education before becoming a licensed Property and Casualty and Health Insurance Agent in 2002 (2-20 and 2-15). She began her own agency in 2011. She has been an active member of many community endeavors including the Franklin County Public Library Advisory Board which she chaired for 22 years. She was an elected School Board member for Franklin County during the consolidation and building of the new Franklin County school. She served on the Gulf Coast State College Board of Trustees for 10 years. She was Chairperson of that Board during the construction of the Advanced Technology Center and the implementation of Bachelor Degrees. Her background as an educator and administrator has enabled her to establish her reputation as a knowledgeable businesswoman. She is married to Cliff Butler and has 2 grown daughters and 4 grandchildren. She grew up in Miami and is proud of her Hispanic roots and has called Franklin County home since 1977.
Cliff earned a degree in Accounting from Florida State University and worked as a CPA for the Auditor General before joining the family owned bank in Franklin County in 1977. After leaving the US Army he served as a Captain in the Florida National Guard for 12 years. Cliff has served and led many boards in and for Franklin County. His passion has always been in affordable housing and assisting those who need a hand up. After leaving banking in 2010, retiring as President of Gulf State Community Bank, he and Denise started their own insurance agency. Cliff’s 40 years in banking make him a unique and valuable member of the Butler Agency Team. His extensive knowledge of properties in our area, especially in regards to the area flood maps, are unmatched. Cliff grew up on a farm in Camilla, GA. He and Denise have been married since 1971. They have two adult daughters, three grandsons and one princess.
Customer Service Reps
Allison earned her BS degree in Political Science with a minor in Emergency Management. She has been a self-confessed insurance geek since 2012. She currently holds the 2-40 license. She wants to know the answers to her many “whys” and is tenacious in finding out not only the solution to problems but the background for underwriting decisions. That does not mean she always agrees! Allison handles her work flow in an orderly and consistent fashion and is especially good at explaining options to customers. They appreciate her follow up and her willingness to go the extra step in completing the task at hand. Allison was a military brat and admits that she has a soft spot for anyone with a Louisiana accent. She has been married to her licensed builder husband David since 2010 and has recently moved into a beautiful new home in Eastpoint. Her dog, Henry loves his new place, too!
Miranda was an honor graduate of Franklin County High School. She has been a customer service rep (4-40) since 2013. She continues her studies at Gulf Coast State College while working full time and raising a new son. She is the friendly voice that you hear when you call our Agency. Her specialties are Auto and Artisan Contractors. There is no problem that Miranda is not willing to tackle for our customers.
Celeste is a graduate of Carrabelle High School. She came to the Butler Agency with nine years experience in real estate and three years in banking. She has been a licensed Customer Service Rep (4-40) since 2014. She enjoys meeting folks from all over and taking care of their insurance needs. She pays close attention to detail and customers like her follow up with their concerns. She made an easy transition to the insurance business and likes it! She has been married to Ryan for 16 years and has two daughters. Franklin County is home.
Zach was number one in his class at Franklin County High School and went on to earn a BS degree in Criminal Justice from Florida A&M on a distinguished Scholars scholarship. Before coming to the Butler Agency, he worked for two years in the Juvenile Justice field and one year with the Department of Children and Families. Entering the insurance field was a leap of faith that has worked out well for Zach. He enjoys the relationship building with customers that make our Agency strong. He was surprised to find that insurance was so complex but that has made it interesting to him. HE quickly earned his 4-40 license. He has lived in Franklin County all of his life and enjoys the fun of having an extended family around him. He has been married since 2011 and he and his wife, Katie, are looking forward to the birth of a daughter in the Spring of 2016
